Juvenile incarceration doesn't solve any problems but rather creates new ones. The countless research on juvenile incarceration reports this. But we witness this every day with our youth. We know that for many young people in the system, a lack of economic opportunity, resources, and support have funneled them into the justice system, and can lead them back into incarceration. We know what we can do to help prevent that.

The national recidivism rate is 75%. But for those who participate in our Alumni Program, the recidivism rate is less than 10%. Many of our administration and staff are themselves Alumni; We know what kind of support is needed and how to best deliver it.
